It is considered one of the important committees headed by the general manager of the hospital and his deputy director of the patient experience department. It is held every three months, where the patient experience management supervisor coordinates the committee and prepares the agenda and its minutes. The committee includes most of the hospital leaders such as the medical director, the administrative director, the director of nursing, quality, patient safety, infection control, security and safety and a representative of The emergency department, a representative of the pediatric department, customer service, nutritionist, social worker, and patient safety officer. The committee aims to review the quarterly indicators, follow up on complaints and observations reports, and review the patient discharge index under their responsibility, in addition to the topics raised about the patient’s experience inside the hospital, where the members of the committee review them. Discussing them and submitting their recommendations to the relevant committees, led by the Executive Committee.
The Patient Experience Committee is keen to present problems and obstacles and search for solutions to them through discussion and group dialogue to think out loud in order to reach recommendations that are submitted to the concerned committees, headed by the Executive Committee and the Director General of the hospital, with the aim of improving the patient’s experience continuously within the hospital and raising the satisfaction rate.
